Terms & conditions
Please read before booking or attending an appointment.
Please read these Terms & Conditions before booking or attending an appointment. By making a booking with Good Things Clinic, you agree to the policies below.
1. Booking Deposits
A £30 booking deposit is required to secure all clinic appointments. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The booking deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment or service on the day of your appointment.
Where the total appointment fee is less than £30, payment in full may be required at the time of booking.
Booking deposits are non refundable.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Where at least 48 hours notice is provided, your booking deposit may be transferred to one replacement appointment.
Where less than 48 hours notice is provided, the booking deposit will be retained and a new deposit will be required to secure another appointment.
Repeated short notice cancellations may result in full payment being required in advance for future bookings or the clinic declining further appointments.
3. No Shows
Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will be treated as a no show.
The booking deposit will be retained and cannot be transferred to another appointment.
Following a no show, Good Things Clinic reserves the right to require full payment in advance before accepting a future booking.
Repeated no shows may result in Good Things Clinic declining to accept further appointments.
4. Lateness Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may reduce the time available for your consultation or treatment.
- Arrivals of up to 10 minutes late can usually be accommodated.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, a £30 late fee may apply.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to carry out your treatment safely without affecting other patients. Your appointment may therefore be cancelled, and your booking deposit will be retained.
We understand that unexpected delays can happen. If you are running late, please contact the clinic as soon as possible. Any decision to proceed with the appointment will depend on the treatment booked and the time remaining.
5. Children in the Clinic
For health, safety and insurance reasons, children are not permitted to attend appointments or wait within the clinic.
The clinic contains clinical equipment, sharps, treatment products and other items that may present a risk to children. Treatments also require the practitioner’s full attention and a safe clinical environment.
Please arrange appropriate childcare before attending your appointment.
If you arrive at your appointment with a child or children, we may be unable to proceed with your appointment. Where the appointment cannot proceed for this reason, it will be treated as a late cancellation and your booking deposit will be retained.
6. Guests and Waiting Area
Appointments are generally carried out on a one to one basis between the patient and practitioner.
The clinic does not have a designated waiting area. Friends, family members or other guests should therefore not attend your appointment unless this has been agreed with the clinic in advance or their presence is required for accessibility or support purposes.
This helps us maintain patient privacy and a safe clinical environment.
7. Illness
Please do not attend the clinic if you are acutely unwell or experiencing symptoms of an infectious or contagious illness.
If you become unexpectedly unwell, please contact the clinic as soon as possible.
Where genuine unexpected illness occurs within the 48 hour cancellation period, Good Things Clinic may, at its discretion, allow the booking deposit to be transferred once to a new appointment.
This exception is not an automatic entitlement. Deposits cannot be repeatedly transferred because of illness or repeated short notice cancellations.
If you attend while unwell and the practitioner considers that treatment should not proceed safely or appropriately, the appointment may be postponed.
8. Consultation and Treatment Suitability
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that treatment will be carried out.
All treatments and services are subject to consultation, assessment, informed consent and clinical suitability.
Good Things Clinic reserves the right to decline, postpone or modify treatment where the practitioner believes that treatment would be unsafe, inappropriate, clinically unjustified or not in the patient’s best interests.
9. Medical Information and Consent
Patients must provide complete and accurate information about their medical history, medications, allergies and any other information requested during consultation.
You must inform the clinic before treatment of any significant change to your health, medication or circumstances that could affect treatment suitability, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, recent illness, new medication or recent medical or aesthetic procedures.
Treatment will only proceed where appropriate consent has been obtained.
10. Results and Expectations
Individual responses to aesthetic, skin and wellness treatments vary. Specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Some treatments may require a course of sessions, staged treatment, maintenance or additional treatment to achieve the desired outcome.
Dissatisfaction with the degree of improvement achieved does not automatically entitle a patient to a refund, complimentary treatment or additional treatment without charge.
Any additional treatment recommended or requested may incur an additional fee.
11. Aftercare, Reviews and Concerns
Patients are expected to follow all verbal and written aftercare instructions provided by the clinic.
If you are concerned about a reaction, complication or unexpected change following treatment, please contact the clinic promptly so that appropriate advice or review can be arranged.
Review appointments are intended to assess treatment outcomes and concerns. A review does not automatically include complimentary additional treatment.
12. Refund Policy
Good Things Clinic operates a strict no refunds policy.
Booking deposits, late fees, late cancellation charges, no show charges, prepaid treatment courses, treatment packages, promotional treatments and gift vouchers are non refundable once purchased or paid.
Treatments and services that have already been provided are non refundable.
A change of mind, a change in personal circumstances or dissatisfaction with the degree of improvement achieved does not entitle a patient to a refund.
13. Courses, Packages, Promotions and Gift Vouchers
Prepaid courses, treatment packages, promotional treatments and gift vouchers are non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Missed appointments and late cancellations within a prepaid course remain subject to the clinic cancellation and no show policies.
Promotional offers cannot be combined unless the clinic specifically states otherwise.
Any validity period or expiry date stated at the time of purchase applies.
Where a patient becomes unsuitable for a remaining treatment within a course or package, the package may be transferred to another suitable treatment.
14. Clinical Photography
Clinical photographs may be taken where appropriate as part of assessment, treatment planning, monitoring or the clinical record.
Clinical photographs will not be used for marketing or social media without separate consent.
15. Behaviour and Respect
Good Things Clinic will not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour towards the practitioner, staff, other patients or anyone within the clinic environment.
The clinic reserves the right to stop or decline treatment and refuse future bookings where behaviour is considered inappropriate or where a safe professional relationship cannot be maintained.
16. Clinic Cancellations
On occasion, Good Things Clinic may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment because of illness, emergency, equipment failure or another circumstance outside the clinic’s reasonable control.
Where this happens, the clinic will offer a replacement appointment. If Good Things Clinic cancels an appointment and cannot provide the booked service or a suitable alternative, any payment that must be returned will be dealt with accordingly.
17. Agreement and Changes to These Terms
Good Things Clinic may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to your appointment unless otherwise required.
By booking and attending an appointment with Good Things Clinic, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the clinic policies that apply to your booking.
